How to make a tie knot or brush your client!

Two weeks ago, I brought the "At the Social Media Marketing Seminar” is an example of an educational video marketing style, i.e. entrepreneurs could seriously think about educating the viewer in addition to an informative and entertaining video marketing style, because a visitor whose problem you solve or whom you teach something new is more likely to become a customer than one who watches the video for entertainment purposes.

How to make a tie knot?

An example was a tie knot: today [Sept 2011] googling “how to make a tie knot” is the first match of Stockmann, who states that there are at least six ways and teaches two of them using a series of pictures.

I am sure that if Kaubamaja made a YouTube optimized video series "How to tie a tie?" in different ways, then it would definitely be more popular and would possibly reach the front in the search results. Heck – even this post may be the first in the search after a while, and so that the tie knot enthusiasts who have read this far are not disappointed, you will find related videos from this search.

A video about making tie knots, which at the end would show and recommend how nice ties we have for sale and possibly redirect to a page where you can order a tie cheaply online, would be more likely to bring the viewer as a customer, as an informative video that we have such ties or an entertaining video about the different uses of a tie.

However, the tie knot is one example of a hundred or a thousand questions/concerns that are searched for on a daily basis. Figure out what are the topics in your field that you could educate viewers about - here's how:
– do evening make-up,
to (not) go around in a canoe,
– mix cement,
– understand good wine,
– choose running shoes, mobile phones, laptops…etc.

Be sure not to forget call-to-action, i.e. redirecting a satisfied viewer to your product or service (campaign) page.

To reiterate, all YouTube videos can be divided into three categories:

ENTERTAINING – Most videos qualify under this, although few of them are entertaining. This style of video is the easiest to go viral, but the likelihood of getting hundreds of thousands of views on your video takes a lot of time, money, and planning and may not pan out.

Also hoax-videos qualify as entertaining, for example A. Le Coq's I believe/I don't believe clip (5700 views):

INFORMATIVE – videos in this style are well suited to introduce your products or services. For example, the introduction video of videoturundus.ee's current project - Ajujaht 2012:

TEACHING - perhaps how to… video is educating the viewer, teaching, etc. via video. Perhaps the most beneficial video for the visitor. Recommendations also qualify as educational content, such as the same Brainstorming video where NOW! Innovations's CEO Üllar Jaaksoo recommends that all contest participants spend at least an hour googling before submitting their unique idea:

NB: the video can also cover several categories - the more successful it is. For example, informative and educational videos can certainly be made through an interesting humor prism.

Let me know in the comments what the topics of your field are and I will help you think about what style of video you could plan.
