Postman online studied how political parties use the possibilities of social media to communicate with voters. In Estonia, social media mainly refers to Facebook, but blogs are also important. Twitter was politically popular @vaiknedon, who became quite quiet some time ago.

Youtube channels

All political parties have their own YouTube channels through which the video message is broadcast. Following is their viewership ranking with brief comments:

Summary:

Political parties use the YouTube channel mainly to upload their TV ads, which is why over 90% of all uploaded videos are relatively meaningless. At the same time, it is online video that gives political parties and to politicians the simplest and most comprehensive way for meaningful discussion with voters.
