Marketing or promotional video:

  • What is the purpose of the video? Sell a specific product or service, introduce the company, introduce the use of the product, etc.?
  • Please describe who the target group of the video is, it would be great if you could describe your ideal customer who will watch the video. You can do it as accurately as possible - a'la 38-year-old father of three children from Peeter Mustamäe, who works as a middle manager in a large company and in his free time plays basketball and goes to the summer house in Vääna-Jõesuu.
  • What style should the video be - informative, educational or entertaining?
  • If the video needs to be filmed (not animation), where would the filming take place? What is the approximate time spent?

Video of the event or conference:

  • If it is an event, what will happen at the event, how many participants will there be? Does the operator have to move around a lot or does everything happen in one place? How long does it last (it would be good to know the time from 12:00 to 15:00). Event schedule? Need more than 1 camera?
  • Will the event be held indoors, outdoors or both?
  • Do you need to do an interview? Who is interviewing? If a person speaks into the camera, they would like the text or thoughts that are being discussed.
  • How many people are speaking - do you need a microphone for each speaker? Are they talking at the same time? Names and titles of performers.
  • How is the sound, is the on-site sound important (a'la flashmob, the sound will be added separately later)? Can the sound be taken from existing sound equipment? Sound guy contact.
  • Have a specific preference for background music? Do you have the rights for this or do you need to order / use a license-free soundtrack?
  • Are presentations used? Is it possible to receive presentations for assembly?
  • What is the room layout (stage, electricity, etc.)?
  • What are the light conditions (is additional light needed)?
  • Who is the contact person, their contacts (phone)?

For both, in addition:

  • What is the size of the video production budget (up to 500, 500-1000, -2000, -5000, more than 5000)? NB: animation solutions start at 2000+
  • Where is the video for? Only YouTube?
  • WHAT and how long should the end result be? Do you want 1 or more videos?
  • Logos, web addresses and other images/animations that could be included in the video.
