The online version of Äripää has started of animated opinion pieces summarizing the week publication. In the first video, they talk about winter time, Taskila, EAS, Savisaari, the reform party and Galojan. The video in the article is linked from YouTube:

At one of the trainings, someone mentioned that Äripäev is a publication intended for the average middle-level manager, which does not strive for deeper (economic) analyses, therefore the addition of visually simple weekly summaries should not be a special topic.
At the same time, I rather agree with the weekly opinion article of Äripäiv Of the shameful execution of Taskila, if with the idea presented in the video. Galojan's movements should also be covered in the columns of another newspaper.
Recommendations
In summary, ÄP's approach in the Estonian media landscape is new and positive and it is possible to get followers from other newsrooms as well. "If Äripäev does not give the author a shoe in the meantime", then below are some technical recommendations for the editors:
- The video is reported as a statement of opinion by the Äripää editor (since the author is not identified separately?). Therefore, it could be On the official YouTube account of Äripää. Currently there is a video YouTube.com/Imepilt on an account whose only activity is commenting on Julian Assange's video:
- The address of Äripää's YouTube account is: http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCRm1Fv7nEuHG1grWnxSstDA (remembered?). This could easily be changed from the channel settings YouTube.com/AripaevEE- ks.
- The video does not have a description, that is, those who find the video on YouTube cannot go to Äripää web to read other news with one click.
- At the beginning of the year I wrote how Estonian online media uses YouTube opportunities. A quick look shows that not much has changed to date. Maybe ÄP will change? ;)
Summary
The style of the talking pen is cool and novel. Possibly also suitable. If you know a journalist and you think he could benefit from this, send him the idea. Or throw a "like";)
