Sometimes images need to be sharpened or enlarged to maintain quality. For example from Midjourney it is possible to download high-quality but low-resolution images. Specifically, for images with an aspect ratio of 16:9, the resolution is usually 1456×816 pixels.
Today, several AI-based image processing solutions offer the possibility of enlarging smaller images. For example, a high-quality wall poster can already be printed from an image file with a resolution of 4630×2595. While there are free or trial solutions on the market, I've thrown this one at 159 USD On top of Topaz Photo AI.
I am satisfied because the solution is simple and the results are good. However, the question arises whether it should also be used to sharpen old blurry party pictures from 20 years ago.
Topaz Labs also offers separate products such as Sharpen ($80), DeNoise ($80), and Gigapixel ($100), but they are all integrated into the Topaz Photo AI 2 solution. Also available Topaz Video AI for $299 USD, but I haven't tried that yet.
